Ural is a legendary brand that used to build bikes during the two world wars. Since then, the company has been constantly working to improve its technology, but even if today its models are fitted with contemporary features, Ural’s bikes still keep their dusty feel that reminds us about its glorious past.
The Ural Patrol makes no exception. It features a classic, pretty basic style and puts practicality on top of its priorities list.
This 2WD, all-terrain motorcycle is built around a 749 cc, OHV, air cooled, 2 cylinder, 4 stroke “boxer” (flat twin) engine. In terms of power, the unit cranks out 41 hp at 5500 rpm and 42 ft-lbs of torque at 4300 rpm. Prior to 2014, Ural’s lineup of engines used carburetors, but this year the company decided to ditch this dated technology in favor of a modern EFI system.
